if you’re from a particularly chilly part of the world, you’ll know that “a white christmas” isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. sure, who doesn’t love a postcard-perfect holiday morning? but we humans from the north have it rough – we don’t get to eat our weight in food and sleep through the whole winter season (okay, maybe some people try to hibernate even though they’re not a woodland creature). point is, some people still have to get to and from work every day, or at least drag themselves outside of the house for groceries and gifts. this winter, when your car’s tires and windows are covered in snow slush and dirt, keep in mind that the frozen hell-on-earth you’re living in won’t last forever! so have fun with it, and try not to get cabin fever. scott wade’s got the right idea:
